Alachua County Awarded Justice Mental Health Collaboration Program Grant

On September 21st, Alachua County was awarded a Justice Mental Health Collaboration Program Grant that will provide $152,435 in funding over the course of two years. The JMHCP Grant will support a countywide effort to reduce the prevalence of individuals with mental health issues in the Alachua County Jail. Instead, these individuals will receive the treatment they need, while remaining in a safe, supervised environment.
