About the Bridge House
The Bridge House is a 44-bed residential substance abuse treatment program in Gainesville offering 28-90 days of service. Our treatment philosophy is based on the 12 Step model of recovery. Clients are required to attend 12 Step meetings and work with a sponsor while in residence. Treatment approach of a Therapeutic Community is that the community itself, through self-help and mutual support, is the principal means for promoting personal change. There is a focus on social, psychological and behavioral dimensions of substance use, with the community helping to heal individuals emotionally, and to support the development of behaviors, attitudes and values of health living.
