Intensive Outpatient – Dual Diagnosis Program
The intensive outpatient program is integral to an evolving comprehensive effort to help individuals suffering from co-occurring mental illnesses and substance use disorders achieve their highest level of functioning without entering inpatient treatment. The persons' mental illness and substance use disorder(s) are each considered primary. Integrated dual treatment is provided so each disorder receives appropriate intensive diagnosis-specific treatment through family, group, and individual therapy and other ancillary services.
Persons served receive individual therapy up to 4 hours of services daily. Participants and are required to attend weekly AA, Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA) or NA meetings and participate in drug and psychosocial education, group therapy, life skills training, and recreational therapy.
These services can be accessed through the CARES, STAR & HOPE Programs.
