Children's Services
Sexual Abuse Treatment Program
As part of Meridian's children's outpatient continuum, The Sexual Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) is a combination of individual, group, and family counseling that is provided according to the treatment/service plan developed by the child and his/her family. The aim of these services is to reduce the trauma caused by the child sexual victimization, victimization from occurring and enable families to have healthy, non-abusive relationships. Treatment services are provided in a focused, time-effective manner and can be provided in the child's home, at school or in the clinic, as appropriate. Adjunctive services such as i8nterventino programs, psychiatric consultation and an array of community resources are sought to enhance treatment.
