Youth Group Home Statement of Need
Meridian is currently seeking a donated House (or property) in
the Lake City, Columbia County area for "The Achievement Center"
- youth boys group home. This program is critical to prevent delinquency
and high school drop out, youth drug & alcohol abuse and helps to
keep these youth off the streets and out of trouble. Many of these
boys have bounced around in foster care most of their life and have
never had a stable environment in which to build their foundation.
The Achievement Center offers these boys hope for their future,
skills needed to guide good choices and tools for recovery.
