Salary : $37,440.00

Mon - Fri plus some rotating weekend hours.

Job Summary

This is a professional position that will report to the Forensic Diversion Team Leader to provide intensive case management, follow-up and service delivery to individuals with mental health and substance abuse services being diverted from the jail. This person must be able to work independently and have the ability to work well with other agencies such as the Courts, jail and community partners. This person will also serve as a mentor and leader to the Forensic Recovery Specialists and assist the Forensic Diversion Team Leader in day to day operations of the Forensic Diversion Team.

Minimum Qualifications

The Lead Forensic Recovery Specialist will have at least 5 years experience in mental health and/or substance abuse treatment with at least a Masters Degree in a counseling/mental health related profession. Skill level may substitute for some of the years or experience required. This individual must have at least one year of experience or training in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.
