Meet Our Recruitment Team

Jamie Ozment
Recruitment Coordinator

Jamie joined Meridian in 2012 as the HR Staffing Coordinator.  Jamie was responsible for employee scheduling for all of Meridian’s 24/7 programs and ensured the units were adequately staffed around the clock.  In 2015 Jamie moved into recruitment as the Recruitment Coordinator and is now responsible for the recruitment and onboarding process for many of Meridian’s positions including Behavioral Health Technicians, Customer Service, Billing, Recovery Specialists, Maintenance, and others.  Before Meridian Jamie was a Certified Nursing Assistant for nearly 14 years before taking a position as a Staffing Coordinator at a local staffing agency.  Jamie has three beautiful children, keeping her busy, and is always looking forward to hunting season!

Bif Sheffield
Lead Recruiter

Bif started working at Meridian in January 2017 and is responsible for the recruitment and onboarding process for many of Meridian’s positions including Clinicians, Case Management, Care Coordinators, Nurses, Forensics and many others. Bif earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Religion from Belmont University, a Master’s of Arts in Theology from Wesley Theological Seminary, and a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership from Jacksonville University.  He has over 18 years of experience in recruitment, advising and program development. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

Logan Anglin
Vice President, Staffing and Recruitment

Logan joined Meridian in 2011 and currently oversees Recruitment, Credentialing, and Staffing for all Meridian programs. She has more than 12 years of experience in management, human resources, staffing, recruitment, and marketing. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of West Florida in Criminal Justice / Forensic Studies with minors in Psychology, Social Welfare, and Child Welfare. Logan currently serves on the Meridian Employee and Engagement Committee and is a member of Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Florida Healthcare Workforce.

Background Checks

Meridian places the highest priority on the safety of its clients, visitors and staff. To ensure the safest environment possible, Meridian conducts a pre-employment DCF Level 2 background check on individuals pre-offer. A background check may also include verifications of employment, licenses, certifications and education. All applicants must pass a drug test before beginning work or receiving an offer of employment. Refusal to submit to testing will result in disqualification of further employment consideration.
